Advantage coaches, listens, and improves the quality of our
work environment -- it's matter of everyone working together
to recognize hazards and behaviors that could affect the
safety of our employees.
Our safety and health program focuses on:
- Training all employees in good safety and health practices.
- Providing necessary personal protective equipment and instructions for its use and care.
- Conducting safety and health inspections to find and eliminate unsafe working conditions or behaviors.
- Investigating all incident or accidents with the goal of avoiding future losses.
- Providing safeguards for mechanical and physical exposures.
Every day, each of us is expected to:
- Wear the personal protective equipment provided for the assigned job in the proper manner.
- Follow all plant safety guidelines.
- Use equipment and tools in the manner they were intended.
- Offer suggestions and ideas that will keep the workplace free from damage, your co-workers free from injury, and input which could improve production.
- Report all injuries, property damage, equipment damage, loss of process or items that affect the work environment immediately.
- Attend all toolbox meetings, monthly safety meetings and other safety functions as scheduled.
- Provide guidance to our customers, when necessary, that will offer them a safe and positive experience.
